Kylie enjoys changing people’s ‘construction’ experiences dealing with design & construction of their buildings through sustainable design, documentation and contract administration as a Registered Architect.
Her aim is to cultivate equanimity with clients & builders through all stages of projects to enable the intended outcomes. This has proved satisfying to many parties. In addition, she teaches part-time Building Design & has tutored at Sydney University; adding to over 25 years of industry experience. Client’s projects are primarily residential and small commercial in scale. Kylie is passionate about achieving fulfilling design outcomes with client briefs and budgets, which is engaging and challenging.
Having completed the Passive House Design course in 2015, serendipitously awarded the course scholarship, she has become an advocate and enthusiast for ‘passive house’, and more sustainable, low energy well-built buildings to be constructed in Australia. She believes that this is the future of building in Australia that will be of great benefit with increased comfort, lower expenses, and improved health and general well-being of building occupants.
