Adjunct Senior Lecturer
Suleiman is an architect and a research scientist. He is an Adjunct Senior Lecturer at the University of New South Wales. Suleiman currently leading R&D research projects at BVN and working on developing the research in performance driven design, robotics and the integration of computational design and Building Information Modelling. Suleiman is also a member of the High Performance Building research group at UNSW and a director at The Association for Computer-Aided Architectural Design Research in Asia.
Previously, Suleiman established and led the Computational Design team at HASSELL. He taught at the University of Melbourne in the Master of Architecture degree program and RMIT. In 2013, he founded O(n) Studio; a research based studio which explores the use the use of new technology in architecture design, design workflows and computational design strategies. Suleiman also worked as an architect with COOP HIMMELB(L)AU and Laceco international where he was part of the winning team for major architecture projects.
Suleiman is a registered architect and engineer. He has practiced architecture in Australia, Europe and the Middle East.
