In 2008, Koichi Takada Architects was established and has grown to a staff of over 50, with offices in Australia, Asia and Europe. The studio’s designs balance sculptural, engaging form with a respect for nature – an approach that resonates deeply with people.
Koichi Takada is leaving his legacy in city skylines all over the world. The studio has won more than 50 international awards for their innovative, biophilic designs. Notable wins include the Architizer A+ Firm Award for Best Medium Firm 2021, the CTBUH Award for Best Tall Building Australia 2021 for Arc (Sydney, Australia) and the Prix Versailles Award for Shops & Stores 2020 for National Museum of Qatar Gift Shops (Doha, Qatar).
