Sydney Build aurecon LogoAmy Clark is a Lead Engineer within Aurecon’s Building Structures group, with experience delivering iconic major buildings and infrastructure projects in Australia. Amy’s expertise in designing complex structures, protective design, and technical design management has significantly contributed to the delivery of Australia’s biggest public transport project, Sydney Metro, most notably the Central Station Metro Works and Pitt Street integrated station development projects. With recent major project experience in innovation leadership, sustainable design, and design for manufacture and assembly, Amy brings an inherently cross-disciplinary and stakeholder-centric approach to delivery. Amy’s contribution to the engineering profession has been recently recognised by Engineers Australia, who named her as Sydney’s 2021 Young Professional Engineer of the Year, by Consult Australia as a Highly Commended recipient of the 2021 Future Leader award, and by the National Association of Women in Construction (NAWIC) as a finalist in the 2022 Hassell Innovation in Design Award. Amy has recently presented two peer-reviewed papers on the Central Station Metro Works project at the 2022 Australasian Structural Engineering Conference hosted by Engineers Australia. Amy is an alumna of the University of Sydney’s Advanced Engineering Programme, awarded a combined Bachelor of Engineer (Honours) and Bachelor of Design in Architecture.
