David Pearson is MBM’s Chief Executive Offer (CEO) and brings over 30 years of experience advising clients on built asset strategies in Australia, the United Kingdom (UK), and Washington D.C.

Prior to joining the firm, David worked in Sydney, Canberra, London, and Washington D.C. for Ernst & Young, and as an Asset Manager for the UK government in central London. David now guides MBM’s public sector clients and financiers on built asset planning, procurement, and management.

David is an expert in public sector advisory for federal, state, and local government’s projects across sectors, including health, education, judicial and correctional, social housing, and commercial property. David shapes public asset management strategies and has advised the UK government on Parliamentary office procurement, the US government on the planning, design, and funding of federal courthouses, the Australian government on overseas property management including embassies and residences, and the NSW government on major public housing estate renewals.

David has strengthened MBM’s position as a bespoke cost and asset consultancy with a focus on tailored client services. Since taking the reins in 2017, David has led the firm’s national expansions in WA, SA, and NSW. His internal leadership centres on investment in MBM’s people, and gives them the skills to shape the future through continuous learning and professional development.
