Monica is a sustainability leader with over 15 years of experience in innovation, engineering and technology, research and development, and strategic thinking. As Laing O’ Rourke’s Low Carbon Materials Lead, Monica works at an executive level to identify, develop, and implement strategies and technology solutions for the construction industry. She’s specially dedicated to developing and driving the company’s Scope 3 emissions reduction roadmap.
Throughout her career, Monica has demonstrated high-level strategic and technical expertise in delivering solutions relating to low carbon materials, sustainability, DfMA (Design for Manufacture and Assembly), emerging technologies, digital products and knowledge management. Monica holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering and a Doctor of Philosophy from the University of Sydney.
