25 years of architecture practice, from sole-practitioner to mid-scale and larger practice in Sydney, Brisbane and Edinburgh, has given Hamish specialized skills across high-end residential, mixed-use, adaptive re-use, heritage and public art projects.
As Senior Associate – People & Culture in SJB’s multi-disciplinary Sydney studio, Hamish supports the team through well-being initiatives, procedures and guides, project support, career development and skills training and brings his practitioner’s perspective to the enhancement of SJB’s workplace culture.
His industry involvement includes the Association of Consulting Architects (ACA) Architect’s Mental Wellbeing Forum, the Australian Institute of Architect’s (AIA) Large Practice Forum, Champions of Change Architecture Group as well as shortlist judging for the Australian Design Review’s (ADR) 30 under 30 program.
His passion is putting into practice the conditions that best support creatives in both work and life.
