Harrison brings 20 years of hands-on experience in the residential construction industry, having worked with some of Sydney’s most respected home builders. In 2018, he founded his own residential construction company, Marsh to Mansion, where he has continued to build a reputation for quality, integrity, and collaboration. Through his work, Harrison has developed strong, lasting relationships with many of Sydney’s leading architects, contributing to a wide range of bespoke and high-end residential projects. 

Harrison was first introduced to hempcrete during a project in 2016 and was immediately inspired by its remarkable properties and environmental benefits. However, the on-site installation process proved to be highly labour-intensive, and building in a remote location on the South Coast of NSW presented additional challenges—particularly in sourcing skilled labour willing to travel. This experience sparked a question: Could there be a faster, more efficient way to use hempcrete—one that made it easier for architects and designers to specify it with confidence?

That question led Harrison to co-found Otetto and develop Living Canvas panels—a prefabricated hempcrete solution designed to bridge the gap between specification and real-world adoption in modern construction.
