Statement: As a passionate advocate for diversity, youth empowerment, and women in trades, I am committed to driving change in Australia’s built environment. Through my role at Empowered Women in Trades, I work closely with schools, industry partners, and aspiring tradespeople to break down barriers, challenge gender bias, and create inclusive career pathways. As a trainer and workshop facilitator, I try to equip young people with the tools to navigate and thrive in the trades sector. By joining Sydney Build as a Diversity Ambassador, I aim to amplify these efforts—engaging in meaningful discussions, contributing to industry conversations, and connecting with like-minded professionals to foster a more inclusive and equitable future in construction and manufacturing.
