With a structural engineering background, John brings 30 years of experience in the application of digital technologies in shaping the built environment.

His digital expertise was gained in the steel manufacturing supply chain, and for over 20 years he’s specialised in digital engineering and building information modelling across multiple sectors in the built environment, shaping teams, and delivering iconic projects across world.

He is experienced in global consultancy practice leadership and transformation, and is well-practised and influential at executive level. He also remains technically competent in the tools and processes involved in the digital delivery of large projects.

He has a human centred digital mindset, and has broad experience in a wide range of digital design and construction technologies; industrial IoT, spatial capture and digital twin technologies.

With micro credentials in ISO109650 principles, John has been an advisor to Standards Australia on the national adoption of ISO standards since 2014.
