A publicist, strategist and talent manager, Karen Eck specialises in putting brands and exceptional individuals in the spotlight. With her hallmark energy and enthusiasm, Karen has built her career on strategically positioning clever and extraordinary people, allowing them to tell their stories. 

Across 25 years of international media and publicity experience, she has worked with some of the biggest names in television, including Oprah Winfrey, Donald Trump (as a touring TV celebrity) and Mark Burnett (creator of Survivor). 

Karen’s own publicity agency, eckfactor (founded in 1999), provides an effective and creative approach to client solutions. 

In February 2020, Karen launched The Power of Visibility to help talented and experienced professionals achieve the success and recognition they deserve by building skills and confidence in their professional brand. 

In March 2023, Karen launched Quotable Women, an innovative program that brings together The Power of Visibility with expert media training to address the current lack of female representation in the Australian media, as revealed recently in the Women in Media Gender Scorecard. 

Karen has delivered webinars to organisations across Australia and Asia Pacific, including NATA (National Association of Testing Authorities), HoustonKemp (economists), Australian Dental Industry Association, Property Council of Australia and Women In Media.
