Linette Salbashian

Director, Principal Architect, Salbashian Architects

Linette Salbashian is the Principal Architect and Director of SALBASHIAN ARCHITECTS, a practice specialising in apartment and townhouse renovations within the Class 2 buildings sector, recently featured in Forbes magazine.

She brings over 15 years of industry experience, having worked with teams behind award-winning projects for some of Australia’s leading property developers.

Linette is also regularly invited to contribute to industry and policy conversations around housing and planning, particularly in the context of the housing crisis.

During her time at Mirvac Design, she played a key role in initiating Australia’s first urban carpark farm, a project that was featured on Channel 7, where she was interviewed about its impact.

Alongside practice, Linette has taught architecture at the University of Technology Sydney (UTS) and contributes to design programs at the University of Sydney, including Design Thinking, Experience Design and Designing for the Digital Revolution.

Beyond architecture and design, she is a community leader who advocates for social issues such as homelessness and domestic violence, has collaborated with organisations like Mission Australia and Mary’s House. She also mentors a local group of women and has served on the Strata Council, championing strata property owners' rights.

Linette lives in Sydney with her husband and three sons. She enjoys beach swims, travel, and kickboxing.
