Mental Health in Construction Ambassador: As a National Manager of tradespeople, particularly with a focus on young apprentices, I feel it's crucial to address mental health and challenge the stigma surrounding it in the construction industry. Many workers, especially apprentices, face significant pressures, balancing intense workloads, job insecurity, and physical demands, which can lead to mental health struggles. By fostering open conversations and creating a supportive environment, we can ensure that workers struggling with their mental health feel empowered to seek help, ultimately promoting better well-being, productivity, and retention in a challenging industry.
