Sharon is a Kamilaroi woman with a diverse career spanning education, not-for-profit organisations, community-based groups, public service, and the corporate sector.
Sharon grew up in Toowoomba, Queensland, where she began her studies and early career focused on improving education, training, and career opportunities for Indigenous Australians.
She is a prominent Indigenous leader with experience in promoting cultural transformation, inclusion, and diversity in education, government, and the private sector. Driven by her commitment to achieving equality for all Australians, she places diversity and inclusion at the heart of society.
Sharon leads the development and implementation of initiatives to enhance diversity and inclusion at CPB Contractors across both the business and its projects. Her responsibilities include creating and executing the company’s Diversity, Indigenous, and Social Inclusion Strategy, the Stretch Reconciliation Action Plan, and the Corporate Gender Equity Action Plan.
