Alistair Coulstock
Alistair is an expert on the subject of sustainability, an author, and Technical Director leading the NSW Sustainability team at Mott MacDonald. His experience is broad, and extends to both organisational change and sustainability in the built environment.
For over 20 years, he has been providing sustainable advisory services for clients to assist them with their organisational ESG requirements and their projects. His experience spans ESG Strategy, Materiality, Decarbonisation and Net Zero, TCFD and Climate risk, and Circular Economy and Responsible Procurement.
For the built environment, Alistair has delivered passive and active solutions for buildings, precincts, and infrastructure, including transport solutions and their fleets. His experience covers all phases of the asset lifecycle from vision and strategy through master planning, to design construction and operation.
Alistair has assisted clients shaping their Sustainability and Social Impact strategies including advising on material issues including sustainable materials, transport, energy, water, waste, supply chain, and of course, climate risk and carbon. Alistair’s property and infrastructure experience spans the whole asset lifecycle and all asset types, including strategy and design for outdoor spaces, buildings, infrastructure, towns and cities. He is knowledgeable in developing strategies and facilitating leading edge sustainable outcomes for many clients. Alistair has an inherent talent for understanding the importance of creating places for people whilst keeping front of mind our reliance on the environment.
