Burak Turgutoglu
Burak Turgutoglu is an experienced architect and a senior-level manager with a creative eye and a diverse skillset across design, construction and management in both private sector and local government. He has over 22 years of international experience across residential, entertainment, public buildings, commercial, retail, educational, hospitality, healthcare, transportation projects and master planning.
He has a Master of Architecture Degree, Bachelor of Architecture Degree and holds a Project Management Diploma. His featured experiences include architectural design, design development, project management, client relationship, stakeholder engagement, performance management, regulatory approvals, financial management, risk management, value engineering and project governance; in addition to communication with authorities, community groups and stakeholders.
He is currently the Manager Design Services of Fairfield City Council, and he leads a skilled team of architects and engineers across architectural works, landscapes, open spaces, masterplans, urban design, civil design, survey and spatial data, traffic and transport services since 2018.
Burak Turgutoglu migrated to Australia from Turkey in 2016 and he had the privilege to work with award-winning international architectural offices such as Anmahian Winton Architects, Steven Holl Architects, Dyer Architects and Baumschlager & Eberle Architects; and respected international project management firms such as Hill International and Mace Group back in Europe, Asia and Africa. He was nominated for “European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture - Mies van der Rohe Award” in 2011 with ‘Modelling and Simulation Centre’ designed by him.
