Callum’s current role is Strategy and Innovation Lead at ACCIONA, based in the Sydney office. Prior to joining Acciona he was leading innovation on transport infrastructure projects from developing four dimensional digital twins to virtual reality applications to custom-built data products for clients at Aurecon and EY. He has a keen interest in finding innovative ways to deliver projects in the built environment and resource industries.

Throughout his time in the engineering industry in New Zealand, Callum noticed a lack of visibility of LGBTI+ individuals within the Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) industries. To bring this to the forefront of industry he established the networking and support platform LGBTI+ in STEM with the purpose to initiate conversations within organisations across STEM. As a result, several STEM organisations acknowledged the gap and became Rainbow Tick accredited within New Zealand. This ensured all employees could bring their authentic selves to work every day creating better outcomes for business, society and people. Due to his establishment of LGBTI+ in STEM NZ Callum was a named finalist for NZ Rainbow Excellence Awards’ Ambassadorship Award and Community and Advocacy Award in 2019.

Since 2010, ACCIONA's commitment to sustainability has been developed around five-year Sustainability Master Plans (SMP). Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion forms a key part of the People pillar of the SMP2025 and is especially committed to transparency and continuing to drive diversity & inclusion across the organization for underrepresented cohorts of the industry.
