Carol is a Registered Architect with over 10-years’ experience in BIM-based design and documentation of Architecture and Interiors projects. She led the development of a BIM digital twin for a billion-dollar hospitality venue, which involved in-depth review of multiple sets of as-builts in conjunction with extensive point cloud scanning to create a singular unified BIM model. The digital twin forms the base of the client’s new facilities management system, enabling them to integrate security, maintenance assessments, and asset management, as well as developing an accurate base for future design projects in the continually evolving building. On her projects at Genton, by designing and documenting in BIM, Carol is able to ensure that the integrity of the design is maintained through coordination phases, reducing on-site coordination issues while creating high quality built outcomes.
