Daniel Cruddace
Dan Cruddace is a Partner & Director at the Sydney studio of Danish architects 3XN.
He specialises in leading and delivering large-scale complex developments with a particular expertise in high-rises, cultural buildings, as well as ‘transformation’ projects.
Amongst these are the new Sydney Fish Market, Queen Victoria Market Tower One in Melbourne, and the award-winning Quay Quarter Tower, Sydney - the world’s first adaptive re-use of an existing tower.
Passionate about design and delivery excellence, Dan believes that the user experience, a considered response to context and sustainable opportunities should all be at the heart of design decisions.
He is particularly interested in the transformation and adaptive re-use of buildings - a typology that he has considerable experience in, with various projects in Europe and Australia and an agenda that 3XN-GXN strongly believes needs to be pushed in response to the climate emergency we face.
