Jane Threlfall
Jane Threlfall is an urban designer and UK registered architect with over 22 years’ experience, who works at Cox Architecture in Sydney. She has worked in both the public and private sector in Sydney, London and Manchester.
She is motivated by the positive impact that architecture and urban design can have on our physical and mental well-being, with a keen interest in working alongside clients and stakeholders to help realise a shared vision. She has worked both in government in the development of design policy and guidance and design advice and review, and in large inter-disciplinary practices in the design development and delivery of new and renewed neighbourhoods, transport projects and mixed-use precincts.
Community and stakeholder engagement is a key focus of her approach, and more recently this includes working with Indigenous cultural advisors and custodians to develop co-design processes which help ensure respectful responses to protect their indigenous cultural values and the environment into the future.
