Founder/CEO, The Equanimity Project (Australia) Limited

The Equanimity Project (Australia) Limited Life has taught me that the intuitive process is invaluable and is reflected in everything we do, including how we think, act and speak. That intuition then flows into being transformational in our choices. To go past the transactional, improving not only our own life but the lives of others, personally and professionally as they are eternally connected. With a background in law, and over 30 years of business management and finance in Australia and the USA, where Karen lived for 17 years, I have enjoyed creating change for individuals from all walks of life, entertainers or entrepreneurs, sportsmen or sole traders. Each connection has shown me that the core of who we are and what we do starts from within. What we believe and our ethics is reflected in our business and personal decisions. I enjoy living outside the box, daring to be different and offering creative communication strategies and effective fundamental business truths to those that cross my path. We may rely on digital to make an impact but we should never forget Brand Human.

Statement:

There has never been a better time to understand the need for equality and diversity in the workplace, especially the inclusivity of women in construction. The standardised roles within many industries have changed and this includes the way the gender choices in construction. Women are the primary decision makers for the colour of the walls, the layout of a kitchen, the look in a bathroom and the luxury within bedrooms. So, we should be involved in the building process too. We care about the environment within the home and around it, we also care about the materials used to construct what is supposed to be our safe space.
