I am a professional Business Systems and Administration Manager with over 15 years experience in both the Building Products Industry and Retail Banking Industry.
My career began in retail banking providing a strong foundation for understanding systems, processes and the importance of accuracy but on a deeper level developed my love for customer service and working with people. I became incredibly motivated to completely understand individual customer needs and therefore find a solution for them. It is rewarding to me to develop long term and beneficial relationships. This has carried through to my positions within the Building Products Industry and evolved to my passion of finding solutions and systems within the company I work for.
I have held several positions at Spantec including Administrator, Internal Sales Representative, Internal Sales Manager and now Business Systems and Administration Manager. I enjoy many different facets of the business and never want to pigeon hole myself into one type of person. My longevity and range of experience as well as working closely with all departments and Managers on a day to day basis gives me greater perspective and insight into the company as a whole.
Continuous company improvement, data analysis, reporting and staff mentoring are my strengths. I like to ask ‘why’ and see what we can do better or more effectively. Trying something different or new, seeking change and implementing it is something I pride myself on. I am an approachable leader and feel that healthy working relationships are key to a happy, motivated and productive team. I am an open communicator and ensure the lines of communication are always open.
Above all I like to enjoy what I do and have fun. I believe in being professional but not too serious and am true to myself at all times.
