Sander Versluis, is Associate Director and Senior Architect registered in Victoria and The Netherlands. He became a part of UNStudio in 2004 and completed his Master of Architecture at the Amsterdam Academy of Architecture in 2009. Sander has played a crucial role in various complex mixed-use and residential projects at UNStudio, such as the 80 Collins Next Hotel in Melbourne and Canaletto Residences in London. Since 2013, he has focused on the Australian market, contributing significantly to UNStudio’s initiatives.

In 2021, Sander took on the responsibility of establishing the Melbourne studio and has since been involved in projects across Sydney, Brisbane, and Melbourne. Noteworthy among these is the current design development of ‘Southbank By Beulah,’ The project also referred to as “The Green Spine”, is to become Australia’s tallest tower. Sander’s role involves translating complex design ideas and concepts into tangible deliverables and prototypes, making them achievable realities.
